WHO AM I?
I am Elizabeth, a 36-year-old woman from Rotterdam, with Polish roots woven into my being.
For most of my life, I walked the structured paths of the finance world — until life gently, yet firmly, asked me to stop.
A burnout became an unexpected invitation to pause, to reflect, and to rediscover the quiet whisper of my own heart.
My journey begins in Rotterdam, stretching across 2,500 kilometers towards Santiago de Compostela.
I will walk through ever-changing landscapes — through silence and stories, through faith and doubt, through connection and solitude.
With every step, I carry one profound question close to my heart:
What is love?
This walk is more than a pilgrimage — it is a quest to slow down, to meet myself anew, and to surrender to the rhythm of the road.
I walk to listen — to the wisdom of the earth, to the voices of others, and to the truths that reveal themselves in the stillness between two heartbeats.
